Troubleshooting Repeated Authorization Prompts

If you are experiencing repeated authorization prompts when using Mailbutler in Apple Mail, this typically indicates a configuration issue. Follow these steps to resolve the problem:

  1. Check Your SMTP Server Settings:

    • Open Apple Mail and navigate to Mail > Settings > Accounts.

    • Select the email account you are using with Mailbutler.

    • Under the "Account Information" tab, ensure that the Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) is set to match your email account.

    • Save any changes you make.

  2. Reauthorize Mailbutler:

    • After correcting the SMTP server settings, reauthorize Mailbutler for your email account using the standard authorization process outlined above. Once these steps are completed, the repeated authorization prompts should stop.
